Cricket-box summary

At cricket-box, South Derbyshire's only dedicated cricket shop, our ethos is simple; we want to offer you the best cricketing products available at affordable prices. We don't want to offer you a plank with the best shiny sticker on it, just because it is endorsed by some so-called superstar.

We want you to enjoy the beautiful game to its maximum and aim to offer you some of the best tools available to help you achieve this. We cannot turn a Monty into a Bradman but a good piece of willow will help even the worst ferret (he goes in after the rabbits!) survive and prosper.

This doesn't necessarily mean providing the biggest names in the market place if their products go against our beliefs, but we hope to offer you a superb selection of products including our own range of products sourced from quality manufacturers around the world.

We will keep introducing new products on a regular basis from both new and old names in the cricketing world. We don't want to be just another stack 'em high sell 'em cheap, cricket shop/website, offering the same old products and trying to compete on price. We want to offer new ideas. We want to be 'proud to be different'.

We will keep introducing new ideas, such as our potential for 10% cash-back for clubs we provide with playing and training wear, providing a better way of fundraising. And remember if you look like a team, you'll play like a team.

We stock a full range of quality cricket bats, batting pads, gloves, helmets, hand made cricket birthday cards, personalised cricketing gifts, gift tokens, kit bags and playing and training wear.

Why not pay us a visit on-line and at our premises in Woodville, where you can browse without pressure to buy. Or just come and sign our honours door. Let us know if you've taken a '5 for' or scored a 50, or taken a 'hat-trick' etc. You may not be able to tell the world about your achievement but you can start with a door in Woodville!

If you've any old cricket books we also operate a swap shop book club. Simply bring in any cricket book and swap it for one of ours, completely free! No catch, we're just helping to spread the word about God's beautiful game!
